The video recording shows an onboard setup to measure the relative flow vector of a kite for airborne wind energy generation during flight. The setup includes a Pitot tube that aligns with the relative flow and two flow vanes that independently measure the angle of attack and the sideslip angle. The recording is taken by a video camera mounted on the measurement rig itself, to show the proper working of the sensors. The recording covers a winch launch and the transition to cross wind flight maneuvers.
