Abstract
This video demonstrates the advantages of conducting enantioselective α-aminoxylation reactions under continuous-flow conditions. Monitoring of the reaction by in-situ IR spectroscopy allows for the simplified optimization of reaction conditions and flow rate. The use of a polystyrene-immobilized proline-based catalyst facilitates the easy preparation of α-oxy-substituted aldehydes with excellent optical purity and a simplified workup procedure.
