Abstract
The Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) was an international polar research campaign in 2019/2020. The video supplement to the paper "The MOSAiC Drift: Along-track ice conditions from space and comparison with previous years" (The Croyphere, 2021) shows a time series of divergence and shear along the drift of the MOSAiC floe from October 5, 2019, to July 14, 2020. The inner and outer dashed circle correspond to 5 km and 50 km, respectively around the position of the MOSAiC floe. Arrows indicate the magnitude and direction of sea ice drift. Colors show divergence (left) and shear (right). Deformation was calculated based on modified Copernicus Sentinel data [2019, 2020]. For details, see the related publication.
