Sublimation of germaniumsulfide in the ampoule point within an cylindrical growth oven at aprox. 540° C. The variation of the pulling rate of 1 mm/d over 3, 10, 30 up to 100 mm/d gives large differences in the growth form of the GeS-crystals, GeS-nuclei, growth front, secondary nucleation, needle form growth.
