This interview was held with Prof. Ludo Waltman, Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Quantitative Science Studies" (QSS) from Leiden University. Taking us on the journey of how QSS became an open access journal, Ludo Waltman elaborates on the challenges they encountered, the process in general and the reasons why they started the transformation. More and more scientific journals are opting for open access. This means a new business model has to be implemented. This video is part of a series of interviews with practical examples.
