Stummelfüßer. Die vollausgebildeten Jungen werden stets zu zweit kurz nacheinander unter wehenartigen Kontraktionen des Hinterendes der Mutter ausgetrieben. Die Jungen können mit dem Kopf oder mit dem Hinterende voran geboren werden und fördern den Vorgang manchmal aktiv durch Laufbewegungen.

The completely-developed young are expelled always two by two from the posterior end of the mother animal by its labour-like contractions; the births take place in a short time interval. The young animals can be born with the head or the tail foremost; sometimes they help actively by "walking", i.e. by moving their legs.
