The film shows different gaits of the grey kangaroo (Macropus giganteus). When fleeing the animals hop in large leaps moving the hindlegs synchronously while their forelegs are hanging down in small angel and their tail swings like a balancing-pole. Hopping is their slow progression. Tail with forelegs and hindlegs are touching ground alternatively. The grey kangaroo observes the environments with its body upright.
