Anfliegen von Blüten zur Nahrungsaufnahme im natürlichen Biotop; Anlockung der Falter mit verschieden gefärbten Attrappen läßt Bevorzugung bestimmter Farben bei einzelnen Arten erkennen; andere Farbbevorzugung zur Eiablage und beim Aufsuchen von Ruheplätzen.
Inachis io, Pieris brassicae. Approaching flowers for food in natural biotope: enticement of the butterflies with various coloured experimental models displays the preference for certain colours found in some species: other colour preferences for egg laying and seeking resting places.
