Darstellung und Vergleich von intrazellulären Kalziumwellen, und zwar anhand von digitalisierten fluoreszenzmikroskopischen Bildfolgen. Es wird hervorgehoben, daß sich die Ausbreitungsformen und Konzentrationsprofile der Wellen durch Temperatur und Pharmaka verändern lassen. Einführend wird der Unterschied zwischen Kalziumwellen und der normalen Dynamik von zytosolischem Kalzium in den Muskelzellen erklärt. (Vgl. Filme C 1473, C 1736).

Illustration and comparison of intracellular calcium waves with the help of digitized fluorescence microscope film sequences. It is emphasized that the expansion forms and concentration profiles of the waves can be altered by temperature and drugs.
