| Abstract | | German | German Eichhörnchen bauen innerhalb ihres Reviers Nester. | | English | English The film documents the behaviour of the squirrel Sciurus vulgaris when collecting and carrying nestmaterial. Within their territories squirrels construct nests made e. g. from shreded bast and gras. The material is collected with the paws and pushed into the mouth. For easier transport the material is shaped to a ball. |
