Abstract Vergleich Herpes simplex infizierter Mäusefibroblasten mit Nichtinfizierten. Zytolyse und Karyolyse der infizierten Zellen.
Tissue cultures of mouse-fibroblasts and of HEp-2-cells are observed before and after infection with herpes simplex virus. After infection, the cells shows features of rounding-off and blister movement. The cultures finally die off. In the cell nuclei the nucleoli disintegrate and form an irregular structure, the nuclei increasing in size.
