Einfluß der Schnittgeschwindigkeit (0,01 bis 5 m/min) über sekundäre Schervorgänge auf die Entstehung von Fließschichten, Spankrümmung und Aufbauschneidenbildung. Mit Zeitdehnung.
The film shows how chippings are produced from a polished and etched testing workpiece made of the free-cutting steel 9 S 20 during orthogonal cutting. In the predominantly ferritic structure the chip formation is generally intermittent, as regards the primary and secondary deformation of shearing, the visible deformation of the workpiece and the chipping shapes. The effect of the cutting speed (0.01 to 5 m/min.) is indicated both by the formation of pick-up on the cutting edge and by secondary shearing on the true rake, with the formation of flow layers and the effect on the chipping curvature.
