Abstract Zerspanungsprozeß beim Drehen von Werkzeugstahl/Wälzlagerstahl mit hartmetallbestückten Werkzeugen im Langdreh- und im Orthogonalschnitt. Die Entstehung des als Wirrspan ablaufenden Fließspans geht mit einer deutlichen Scherzonenverformung einher. Übersichtsaufnahme (zeitgleich) und Lupenaufnahmen (Zeitdehnung).
The film shows the machining process during the turning of alloyed tool or roller bearing steel 100 Cr 6 with carbide tipped tools. The work sample was machined longitudinally and vertically under normal v 60 conditions, and the process was filmed both at normal speed and under magnification with suitable slow-down. The properties of this wear-resistant material influence the formation of the cuttings, resulting in continuous cuttings with irregular run-off with distinct cutting area strain.
