The film shows by time lapse takes the establishment of the heart anlage and the morphogenetic movements whoch lead to the formation of the tubular heart and the cardiac loop. The film shows in normal frequency selected examples of early heart beats which begin in the 2nd day of incubation. Filming was carried out on embryos cultivated in vitro.
