Anläßlich des 10jährigen Bestandesjubiläums des Flößermuseums Weyer-Kastenreith wird die Herstellung eines Ennsfloßes nach überlieferter Methode von der Schlägerung über die Holzbringung bis zum Bau des Floßes selbst sowie die Floßfahrt dargestellt.

In 1985 the Museum of Rafts at Weyer celebrates its tenth anniversary. On this occasion an Enns raft is built by the traditional method from pine trunks. Former raftsmen and woodcutters show for the last time their ability. The film presents all the stages of the work, from the woodcutting, disbranching, and decorating over the wood haulage to the fastening together of the trunks.
