Feldspitzmaus. Außer durch Transport im Maul bringt ein Muttertier seine Jungen aus dem Nest in Karawanenformation zu einem anderen Unterschlupf. Die Jungen werden durch Anstoßen mit der Schnauze und durch "Überlaufen" von der Mutter aufgefordert, sich festzubeißen und, verbunden mit ihr, in Karawane zu laufen. Meistens sind mehrere Junge an einer Karawane beteiligt.

Besides the common behavioural manner of carrying the young in the mouth of their mother the film presents a female Bicolor White-toothed Shrew which transfer its young from their nest to another shelter by means of the caravan formation. Pushing her young with her muzzle and overrunning them the mother induces her young to bite into her hindpart and to run connected with her in caravan formation. Mostly several young take part in a caravan.
