Mit der "Hauptsatzmaschine", einem Integraphen, wird die Gültigkeit des Hauptsatzes der Differential- und Integralrechnung für konstante und für stückweise lineare Funktionen gezeigt; mit Hilfe elementarer Treppenfunktionen erfolgt die Übertragung auf beliebige stetige Funktionen (Realtrick).
