Einstieg hierfür ist die Betrachtung einer Schrift, die durch den Kristall hindurch doppelt erscheint. Anschließend wird die Polarisation der austretenden Lichtbündel untersucht. Die Ergebnisse werden theoretisch aufbereitet und am Modell verdeutlicht.
