This film shows the locomotion of land hermit crabs, a number of individuals being shown in different snail-shells. We can observe the locomotion in the horizontal and in climbing. These actions are shown both in adults and in young animals. A further part of the film deals with the movements of the crabs in changing over from one shell to an other.
