(Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae) lay their eggs by piercing into pupae of lepidoptera, free on the surface of or hidden in tissues o plants. Hereby they remarhably reduce the abundance of agriculture and forestry pests. The film shows the behaviour during copulation and egg laying and presents pictures of larval development inside the host (Galleria mellonella L.).
