The film shows the basic phenomena of the tendrils movements, which are a combination of several movement phenomena of the shoots and the tendril: the autonomous circumnutation of the shoots, the autonomous contorting and stretching motion of the tendril, the hapto-tropism reaction to touch of the tendril with spiral like curling in and the autonomus curling motion of the old tendrils. These motions are shown in Cyclanthera pedata, Sycios angulatus and Passiflora gracilis in the film.
