Abstract
Prey capture of Admetus pumilio: grasping of prey with its pedipalps; maceration of prey (extra-intestinal digestion). Ritualized fighting of two Admetus males: touching each other with one antenniform leg; grasping with wide-open pedipalps; pulling back and forth. Comparison of mating in three species (Admetus pumilio, Tarantula marginemaculata, Charinus brasilianus): differences in courtship behaviour, the depositing of the spermataphore and in methods of attracting the female.
