The film shows a number of behavioural patterns of eight species of Australian marsupials. The most important items are: catching of prey and eating of the Quoll, eating of the Striped Possum and the Koala, climbing movements of the Brush-tailed Possum and the Goodfellow tree-kangaroo, the gliding-flight of the Sugar Glider, digging of the Common Wombat and finally different gaits of wallabies, kangaroos and tree-kangaroos. The film was made in the Zoological gardens of Stuttgart, Hannover and San Diego (USA).
