Ausgedehnte Narben am Hals verhindern Drehungen und Rückwärtsneigen des Kopfes. Sie liegen schwimmhautähnlich zwischen Kinn und Brust und füllen den freien Raum über dem Kehlkopf aus. In fünf Einzelsitzungen zeigt der Film, wie ein großer Lappen von der Brust her zum Hals gedreht wird, und daß nach einzelnen Korrekturen und Extirpationen alle Schwielen eine ausreichende Beweglichkeit des Kopfes wieder möglich ist.

Extensive scars on the neck prevent rotation and backward tilting of the head. They lie like webbed skin between the chin and chest and fill the free space above the larynx. In five individual sessions, the film shows how a large flap is rotated from the chest to the neck, and that after individual corrections and extirpations of all calluses, sufficient mobility of the head is possible again.
