The dye passes through the vasa efferentia, the proximal and the distal tubulus lumina at characteristic times, thereby permitting - in addition to the differentiation of proximal and distal tubuli - the determination of tubular flow rates. This is followed by a description of the behaviour of the proximal and distal tubuli lumina during interruption of glomerular filtration by clamping the aorta. |
