Segmentation and gastrulation in the Sagitta setosa are shown from the animal pole and in profile several times in slow-motion and the closure of the blastopore is presented. A film of the segmentation and gastrulation of the ovum of the Sagitta elegans arctica Aurv., and her larvae are shown for purposes of comparison.
