Abstract
In a changing geopolitical context, economics, geopolitics and security go hand-in-hand, and knowledge and innovation are understood as strategic means of power. This implies that, now more than ever, international cooperation is not without its limitations and risks, which can manifest themselves in various forms. Through an integrated risk management policy, KU Leuven aims to mitigate ethical and legal risks related to research security, dual use research and potential partners directly involved in serious human rights violations. This presentation will highlight the developments at KU Leuven.
