Abstract
Earlier this year CDL, Crossref, DataCite and Digital Science launched ROR, a community-led project to develop an open, sustainable, usable, and unique identifier for every research organization in the world. Since then we received a lot of support, but also many questions about implementation. We're therefore very happy to be able to share the first implementation examples! In this webinar, you will hear from Daniella Lowenberg, Product Manager for DRYAD, how DRYAD implemented ROR in their repository so that researchers can now unambiguously link their datasets to their institutions. DataCite Product Manager Robin Dasler will explain how DataCite incorporated RORs in the DataCite metadata schema, thereby enabling repositories to share affiliation information with the wider community.
