| Abstract | "As well trained and experienced members of the free software community from Turkey, we were caught off guard, when the earthquakes happened on February 6, 2023. We started mapping campaigns with HOT, we aggregate different data sources on a GeoServer installation, we did several visualizations on QGIS, but we always felt like something was missing".
If we had a guideline of disaster response for free software communities, we would feel better at the beginning.
This session's aim is, to prepare a dynamic guideline of disaster response actions for geospatial communities, focused on free software and open data. |
