Abstract
Haskell is a statically-typed purely-functional programming language with non-strict evaluation. These features make programming in Haskell quite different from programming in other languages. This talk will illustrate how to use Haskell for implementing simple 2D animations, firstly using basic functional programming techniques and data types, and then using lenses, for accessing nested data types, and the state monad, for simulating mutable states.
