Copepoda, egg sac, species undet. (Crustacea, Copepoda), length 700 µm, Lanzarote 4.2019. In many copepods females lay down their eggs in small packages, called egg sacs. In some taxa the females carry one, in other two of the packages until hatching. Sometimes these may be separated from the female and be found as single sacs, showing the different stages of development.
