Why is software created using taxpayers’ money not released as Free Software? The goal of the talk is to present the Public Money? Public Code! campaign of the Free Software Foundation Europe. It will quickly recap what free software is, why software procured/developed by the public sector should be released under a free software license and what recent developments in that area have been made in Switzerland.
