In this talk, I will introduce several games that one can play with II1 factors and the connection between these games and other active areas of research, including the Connes Embedding Problem and the study of elementarily equivalent II1 factors (that is, II1 factors with isomorphic ultrapowers). Some of the work in this talk is joint with Thomas Sinclair.
