Abstract
The two main challenges for Density Functional Theory (DFT) are strong correlation and the inclusion of London dispersion interactions. In this talk I will introduce our new formalism for dispersion interactions with fixed marginals (arXiv:1812.11840). The emphasis will be on the mathematical aspects, starting with the simple system consisting of two hydrogen atoms.
