Lets forge a new installer. The old one is rusty. These days we have pip, Python is standard on most systems and a JavaScript environment is nothing that scares administrators away anymore. Containers are state of the art, but not everywhere. Simplification on one hand comes with more requirements on the other hand. We started a new way of installing Plone, we have plans. Learn about our idea! And we need help and more input.
