Cypris larva (Crustacea, Cirripedia, Thoracica, Balanomorpha, Balanidae), length 560 µm, Helgoland 06.2019. 0:27 min. The primary larva of Cirripedia is the nauplius larva. During the sixth moult the completely different cypris larva is formed. The body is enclosed between laterally shells, with one pair of antennae and six pairs of thoracopods. There is a nauplius eye and a pair of complex eyes. The cypris settles at the ground. Video can be used for teaching.
