Evadne nordmanni (Crustacea, Branchiopoda, Onychopoda, Cladocera, Podonidae), length 900 µm, Helgoland 07.2012. 0:23 min. There are only a few species of Cladocera in the marine environment, main genera are Podon and Evadne, the female of the latter have a pointed wide carapace, forming the brood chamber for the eggs which often becomes cumbersome.
