Abstract
Plone's resource registry has changed significantly with Plone 5 and its adoption of RequireJS and Less.js. Now we can define JavaScript modules and their dependencies and use the power of LESS to better structure CSS code. We can even use Webpack to bundle our resources. This talk demystifies the resource registry by explaining its concepts, outlining workflows to accomplish common integration tasks and by giving tips and tricks to make it work for your project. I will also give an overview of Webpack-based resource bundling and discuss the future role of the resource registry.
