Abstract
Even though it is 25 years old, Java is still a modern and one of the most used programming languages. For this, the language, the APIs, and the runtime have been dramatically improved over the years. As a Java developer since the early 1.0 days, the presenter has collected extensive information over the years and has finally put it together on the Java Version Almanac website. In this session, we take a look behind the scenes of the Java Version Almanac and touch on some trivia about the history and future of Java.
