Abstract
After Izmir Earthquake happened on October 30th 2020, a citizen collective for measuring earthquake effects started to work. In 3 weeks, the collective collected the hazard data, visualized data and created reports & analysis as an alternative approach for government work. Two different NGO’s, Yer Cizenler (Earth Drawers) and National Chambers Union of Architects and Engineers of Turkey, got together after minutes from the Izmir Earthquake. This presentation will be an explanation about the field work, data visualization and crowdsourced disaster response they have done.
