This presentation will provide an overview of the Canadian journal publishing environment and locate Canada's library publishing and hosting programs within this context. It will also describe some of the different partnership models Canadian libraries are exploring to improve and expand their services, and provide a legitimate alternative to commercial, for-profit publishers.
