When Microsoft recently introduced universal Windows apps, they weren’t given much attention. In fact they created more confusion, especially for the large number of mobile developers on the Microsoft stack. However, the fact that you can develop one app that can then be deployed on multiple platforms and reach an exponentially larger customer base with almost the same effort it extremely powerful. Universal apps work on everything from Windows mobile devices to tablets to “Big” Windows, yes, even on Xbox One.
