In this talk I will introduce you to the world of "Tidymodels". Tidymodels is a new coding ecosystem in R developed by Max Kuhn and others at RStudio. It is a modelling environment to effectively and more easily handle machine learning problem. I shall present an overview of the Tidymodels package methodology and provide a hands-on coding example for solving a machine learning prediction problem. The presentation will walk you through the several steps involved in producing a prediction answer to a regression problem. The example will proceed from the beginning preprocessing stage of the data on through to the evaluation of the model's performance metrics.
