Video supplement to the paper: 'Wildfire emissions and atmospheric dispersion: bringing together model results and observations for the Australian wildfires during summer 2019-2020', Journal: Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (ACP) - This video shows the atmospheric dispersion of PM2.5 for wildfire emissions in the southern hemisphere from December 27, 2019 to January 31, 2020. PM2.5 emissions in the period December 27, 2019, to January 7, 2020, are included. The figure shows the integration over all levels and the colorscale shows the concentration in ng/m3. Emissions are obtained from GFAS (https://confluence.ecmwf.int/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=158643360), the dispersion is calculated using the Lagrangian particle dispersion model FLEXPART (https://doi.org/10.5194/acp-5-2461-2005)
