This is the first online FOSS4G event, how did we get here? What can we learn? What does the future hold? This is the first online FOSS4G event, how did we get here? What can we learn? What does the future hold? It’s going to be a while before we can start meeting face to face again and even longer before we are likely to travel across continents to attend conferences. What does that mean for our OSGeo community? FOSS4GUK Online could be a great success or stuff may have gone disastrously wrong. This presentation will be pretty spontaneous, we won’t have finished FOSS4GUK online when it is delivered. I will share some of our experiences running the event, what we have already learnt and consider how online events may be a key part of our community and outreach in the future.
