So, good morning. I hope you had a good time yesterday at the social event, and everybody got up well today. Had lots of coffee. If this is your first day at EuroPython, then welcome.
I'm not going to do a complete introduction like I did in the past days. Just want to do a few morning announcements, mention some things that might be important for today. So I want to repeat what I already mentioned yesterday in the morning announcements, the open space. This is a possibility for you as an attendee to organize a session yourself.
You just have to go downstairs to the registration desk. There's a poster there where you can put up your talk. You select a slot that's still free, and then you can use the room deli, which is at the ground floor level, and then do your session there.
So that's a very good opportunity for you to do things that are a little longer, let's say, than a lightning talk. For lightning talks, of course, you can still sign up downstairs at the registration desk and then give a lightning talk later today. I also want to repeat that we are doing these raffles at the lightning talks, so we have some books to give away, some devices, I think.
We started selling off the t-shirts and the bags now, so we still have some left. We don't want to throw them away. And, of course, we want to make them available to you, so we're selling them off at very cheap prices.
You can also get Pupil devices. We still have some left, also at the registration desk. Then we have booklets left, conference booklets, in case you want to take some booklets home for, you know, memories or something. We also ideally would like not to throw those away, so you can pick those up downstairs.
Then we found that we forgot to put the O'Reilly coupons into the conference bags, and so we're giving them out virtually now. This is the coupon, what it looks like. You can get the paper version down at the registration desk.
I put the code here, the URL. They give away free access to Safari, and you can find out everything on these coupon codes. If you want to get the paper version, put some downstairs into the exhibit on the sticker tables that we have.
Ah, by the way, we also have some stickers to give away. If there are any left, then please go to the sticker tables and get some. And then the last announcement I want to make is for the speakers specifically, please upload your slides to the website so that we have the slides available for the attendees to look at resources like URLs, for example, or maybe to recap on the talk that you gave.
So that's it from me, and I would like to just say that this was a great conference.
We're going to have, for the Lightly Talks later today, after that we're going to have the clothing session where we can give something back to all the volunteers who have helped running the conference, so it would be great if you would stay for the clothing session as well. Right, so enjoy the day. Tomorrow we start the sprint. Before the Lightly Talks, we're going to have the sprint orientation session where
people who want to run sprints can then propose what they want to do and then maybe give a short intro to that. All right, enjoy the day. Thank you very much.
