so it was
and and the if but the or going the next 4 kiss my motives over there and here we're talking about Internet and censorship censorship In the cancer from them the welcome to what we just the thank you very much and welcome to my talk uh
1st of all I want to give us a shot disclaimer so I'm not a security specialist and sold most of information you can find your nearly all the information is service from propager label as publicly available and I was wars any illegal activities so only secondhand information sorry OK what we're to talk about and I will talk about average if you're social short background will political background then I will talk a lot about how the the ring of sea piece it did work then there is a there was a home page that's called went to both page which had the different there on a different way to store data and I will talk about today of so referendum and have hopefully will have some time for June a OK so
here on the right-hand side you can see is the Spanish state and where they're reporters circuit when which is well known that the city Barcelona soak up the mean has its own language and culture it's 1 of surge richest regions in their in Spain with 20 per cent of GDP and has a long history of the of struggle to get more autonomy is uh especially in 2010 there and their autonomy got to cut down by the Spanish government and so the voices came up that asked for independence so the Catalan Government decided to have a referendum and 1st asked 16 times the Spanish and government tool agree on a referendum and the Spanish government didn't want to and so the Catalan Parliament volume and in June cited in majority to all the referendum on 1st of October which later was called in constitutional by the Spanish Supreme Court
OK so all the obviously in in this talk we will told I was talking on about the Internet censorship and B and the focus will be on this but there's has been also other things that are happening in the weeks before the referendum that I want to talk about what the weeks before and even in the weeks after so for example that was true referendum would material was confiscated by the police we had over 800 injured and people by the police and on the day of the referendum when the police tried to shut down pair polling stations 1 man lost his eye by the police were about bullets an interesting here is that there have and police forces are not allowed to use rubber bullet against the protesters but Spanish police officers are allowed to do so in Catalunya the so uh right now therefore persons imprisoned without being including their their validity and vise president into tool the leaders of the political organizations and the president allelic legitimate president of Catalonia and 4 ministers Ambrose Linux EU so if you want to say to see more about the Our approach police repression you can have a look on this link where so a lot of the news about the day of the referendum so there's a famous
uh phrase in Spain that this spring is different and their and Catalunya 70 per cent of the population uh and you wanted to go to have a referendum on 1st of October and the other of set of Spanish state what these so you can see uh peacefully approach protesters sitting on the street trying to block to police from shutting down a polling station and police beating them up and comparison for example you have seen Scottish referendum in 2014 with which was agreed between the capilano as sorry between say the UK government in the Scottish Government and there well and it seems that in Spain politically problems are treated differently OK so that's enough about
politics and let's get more technical and uh I took this
picture from the EFF so it shows you how Internet censorship works so the idea is that you post your speech here which is the only real way of a post in your audience has to pass all these chain to actually see use speech and in each part like I speed the inner city and and so on and it can breaks the chain on the other hand we have 2 platforms like Twitter Facebook you name it or payment systems which can also be censored so there small spoiler uh I marked all their place as well as in the ship that detection in the Kabalah referendums on the Web host of loops of is the Dona I in units upstream of streaming so in this case so there's more lies p providers which an infrastructure of bigger ones uh clearly and it can also be affected all of us in the should of the bigger ones that sensor on the Web posting on the platform so we will see now these as
was done so on the right-hand side you see their home page of the referendum which informed about the referendum on 1st of October and it was hosted in smaller repose provider and also Barcelona muscles in a small town called c mon and 13 sub September police and was so the court order never post provider and there and shut down the web page 9 afterwards appeared to heroes first one ref 1 Oct . cut and afterwards ref 1 or 2 but you don't get this stands for Catalunya and not for the pit right so if
and when the next to model of visual pitch got size things examine September much Jordan's Years Peace Dr. Blix to broken preachers right
and next that you went was a 20th of september which was like the big attack from the Spanish State against a referendum so set took over the control of saccadic eye on Treasuries of the autonomous region of Catalonia wasn't able to spend any money they announced that they will bring consultant police officers to cut the linear to stop the referendum and that a don't have facilities for all of them some was sleep in in ships and cut on ports and that there were a total of 14 people arrested by federal police as and several high-ranking officials of to cut the line government and civil servants and especially as some members of the center of telecommunication telecommunication technology which is there technologies and of the Catalan government the so we did this it seems that that most of the technology infrastructure for the Reverend referendum gotta dismantled and uh if you read this link don't you which is unfortunately only the land you can see that uh hacktivist groups took over the task of setting up the infrastructure and they did directly from the underground so that he was tall or signal and any missing carts bitcoins and their good and later on it was a good clear that they're actually the police was in the telephone salsa politicians of the cut politicians to find out where which people to arrest in which share facilities to serve to search in the twenties of September OK apart from that there was also the technical director of industrial don't cut arrested so what is from cut from the 2 that cut a private foundations and is the top-level domain operator of
the the PEP domain so they got the occur a court order on the 15th of September to shut down REF 1 of octet cut in told us they got and they go to a court order Swissair everything a larger list of domains p and the court order also included that they should resources uh then mentioned that cup domains to a police over and if you know how the universe works in you know that there doubly the domain and the names of only linear only pinpoints you to authoritative domains server so it seems like the priest didn't really understand how this works and but but this and more severe part of this the only 1 sees its effect that the court order also included that the problem the main operator and has to block all domains that may contain any kind of information about the referendum and that they should actually actively and money to all the domains so that places the burden of propping means as a registry operator and the question is if this is the thing at all because there's no court court order it's just brother-in-law a case on
the on the 17th of september they inform my from this you that cut from that I can about the Baron and the 20 said that the can director get arrested the was retained in the crystal at the food two-and-a-half days was the accusation right now opened up to date is misappropriation of public funds perversion of justice and disobedience and which is a bit strange because it's a private foundation so I don't know how to apply misappropriation of public funds of public funds but I'm not a lawyer and later so that but said and the reasons are that's interesting part is when the reasons are quite unclear so there's no no proves approved prove so evidences provided up to now and the direct actually is the waiting to try to to see what oppressive processes prosecutor actually the books on the table to see what they actually do work on what these accusations of based the the OK they ate as an archive as along the 2 sister uh massive amount of nearest appear in the next days the exact number it's difficult to say but not it's over 100 for sure so when some 1 Merrill was also done in the town at work and you had some funny names like you the the look sexy where is he really is 1 of the is a civil guard which is a federal priest corpse that was them into winning in there is a cut on referendum in purely not cut it purely in this case is couple on instance for tweeting you know these smaller chicken cut to 1 uh uh the yellow 1 so why is this way would you name the domain name like this well because 1 of the boats was a
police officer slipped was this 1 from so it was really a children and social media the and 22nd of slip of
September the police raid cells new links here uh accused as a main gun Daniel Morales Morales and that use ahead of our group order that organizes mirrors of the referendum websites just mention that will ensue sort of Catalonia and there that he did this with his top repository and the worries something here is that the search for included literately to change possible order and security questions for get Facebook Twitter may use a direct and of him so when the the police actually ended
his house here to the computer turned on so he they were able to take over sessions in the browser and concrete said uh Google account and they could cut becomes uh uh happy and then they'd ask that was talking to lawyers and say the said that it was totally leave he was able to recover recover them after a few days by notifying will be to top that his identity got dropped is accused of disobedience which is 6 months to 4 years of prison and is awaiting trial as well and they're more than 15 people uh and there are more than 15 people were cited to declare provides no information about how this if they are what a accused all the subgraph OK
let's have a look on the sensor methods
so over all the numbers circulating between 25 websites which says mom observatory that book of interference in differences from the Torah and project to up to 140 blocked websites most of society blocked a sense of where minerals of the official websites but also political organizations which uh uproar a forever brawl independence or the yes campaign websites from the political parties that run a campaign for the referendum to vote yes and some of them the as in like in Taba and I haven't explained that there were some smaller some websites which share and in which was created from the social movements of Catalunya to supports a
referendum so what we've seen up to now I'm from there send the methods we've seen but postcard-sized we've seen the redirection of Citicorp domains to police landing page but if you want to use the names of quantity the register the red which is the operator and uh apart from that the the ice pieces will and data and sensor so they used to be as tempering HTTP blocking and the interesting thing is that different eyes please use different methods so in a concrete DNS tempering was used by France Telecom Board of phone and was get then and they're more sophisticated deep packet inspection was used but Telefonica Telefonica's 1 of the biggest that eyes piece in Spain of the biggest and as I already said that a small ice please which connected which were collected or which are connected to the larger were also affected and they are the interesting part here is that some small independent nice piece was not affected so it's not clear if and the police care tools sent them apart where and all a police said that was 90 per cent of the Internet users not being able to see all these nearest we're fine this is your on
page and the police landing page I already talked about when you try when you enter the urinal for Sensor Web site it shows certain symbol of Sicily got and what some information OK so
let's talk about the tampering in the case of the nest and bring what the the ice piece did that just uh results the and they and their and they resolved to host name in in their DNS service to the police landing page so it was really easy know quite easy to circumvent this you just change the DNS resolver stress in your local machine and then this works in case of water phone if you had the origin of order from rotor you also had to all calls him on their the desk and ask and to disable the readiness proxy which actually they did alternatively you use the
and that the package an inspection was done on the HDP layer so what they did say uh match to say a host name of HTTP GET request but on on some specific IP addresses and there was a regular expression used to do this and really bad and regular expressions yes example for if 1 you so if you're put anything in front of W W . Raf-1 1 locked you when you use HTTP GET request saying that and then the food that hits but if you put like in football graph 1 knocked out to you then you actually uh that that that didn't hit um and this website used top for CBS killed of flares CDM and there were 2 what to IP addresses have which um resource in his system and so they eyepiece uh used for this broken where these 2 set piece and if you use 2 different IP from 12 per then you could actually see the home page In the case of uh http has very HTTP traffic is encrypted so you can't use it should pick it up and mean have hostname tool for that so what you do uh what what they did here is the TLS and in protocol and the host and the the for the code has to know which uh which domain you actually want to all start uh and the encryption to provide users with so the correct their certificate so therefore the entity less said hello message uh and there's a field that's a so the name indication which is transmitted in clear text which it passes through the set which gives a hint on the host you want there's 3rd could certificate for and that is used by all state of the art browsers so you can see this year when the
client center hello message you uh the and I domain name here and then there's the deep packet inspection here was checks and if it's allowed than it before water new phenomic connection in it's not that we're restricts resets the connections and when the connection gets reset uh which rates at which the selection to keeping you got there sees um homepage so you can see here the html body in their some scholars in JavaScript from that that and you can see here as which and the end the year there and homepage will actually be replaced by the police landing page the more the 1 we saw before and and you can also see that there are other cases in the switch and this for example is fully the gambling which is uh which below the different uh of would of a page from a different IP and they would look like set there these infrastructure wasn't build up for the referendum but that was already there use but Telefonica for illegal gambling homepages and then if you look on the so much if you look on this which is actually the case it's it's uh on the referendum held on pages and you can see that it's most probably they and and it's the domains and domain names to the fishing to the list of fishing uh home pages and books and in this
way OK and in with some tests uh you could see that they're the package inspection holds states for 10 seconds because it can't hold the state forever and the and because it has only a uh as she knew that amount of memory so what you could do you could for example you was not kept you connect you to an HTTP connection before 18 so you have an HTTP connection build up and then you wait 11 seconds before yourself that the agency to 2 p get request a host name and then yeah the thing that doesn't apply this the sole thank you the so conclusions if the amplitude for you can just use a different clock for appeal results of the main and then you should be fine or you could DATA should be get for 11 seconds or user BP and the
so the conclusions of all about the censorship in this case a picnic it was easy to circumvent the um as long as you don't have to educate 5 . 3 million voters right I mean if you're a if you into take you may begin to change you you're you're genus over uh if you ask maybe you porins maybe they're not they don't all to do this and then you can see on the right hand side but Twitter from their president of Catalonia which uh explains how to use the online proxies for a two-year Aztecan Windsor the several Windsor censorship and as far as I know there have been and noise speed communicated to the users that there was start look content and uh I think the most interesting good conclusion as you choose your eyes be wisely you might get around censorship apart that you see in some are more motivated to send than others OK and we will
talk about the the way to go to website
the so normally if you go to a if you call to an election you get a letter which said assume which polling station polling place you have to go on the day of the election this was in the public possible because Spanish post service tonight is in these information so they cut the land and government decided to build the home page and mainland where where you could query this information so here it is already said census of 5 . 3 million boulders and uh over 1 and polling stations which you can see in the next and it was foreseen that the official which will be blocked and so they've upside must be easy clone labels and their number you the which what website like this was uh uh database back end uh where you query there were you know query and then send pixie information to the client so this was not possible here and I will explain in a minute how they did it so this homepage
was published on the 21st of September and got prompting extends so the assumption was correct via a telegram and with the 2 to the boats were also published by you could just send you inflows send you information and then they told you which polling station you had to go and also and read up in the Google Play store and this uh was pulled out on the 20 9th of september so at least was up for some more days but hello OK
many clones of this homepage appeared and they were also published in interplanetary file system for everybody who does not know what's in the planetary fuzzes them as it is the uh really cool project the project that thing it's a peer-to-peer network and you can imagine that the disease is like BitTorrent magnet link where you can find the homepage and that any client and network or has a homepage and you can access it and you have EuropeAid with which a Chilean allows you to see the data in your browser so what did Telefonica they wanted to this home page so that just broke the only gateway that means signature of and does not only block the homepage of the referendum but any other data that the anyway anybody wanted to see through this gateway unfortunately and main there were different and there exist different gateways fight PFS and it was so it was still possible to see the content and if you use a command-line tool you could the the copy the content to you know to you computer the
OK so there they were page uh up more of what we're to both looked like this so you had to put in some uh personal ID which is called the 9 then the date of birth you post cold and then using the information in there as I already said that there this not possible to have a big and is an ancestral database because and because if you clone it's is is confidential law uh information you would have to dump the database and you would have to provide an IP for example the database to everybody and you don't want that because you don't want everybody to know uh the ideasand where the people have to go to vote so what did they it but that's a
don't they took uh this is the idea also the idea of the depression which is a day and numbers in a character the character is search exam the date of birth and the post-Cold the and you can contact can concatenate the uh leaving alone uh the 1st 3 numbers so you take all these what is underlined of this as a string and then you has shaped oneself in 714 times and you put it in a variable name that's the college g here and then you it once more and you put it in search and then uh the hash from search you takes the 1st 4 will use and this will give you the file of database which is encrypted on the web server itself which you know is all done this all this procedure is done in this JavaScript in your client in your browser right so you don't know these findings in the file uh is uh t when you store it has around 70 lines and then you take the remaining 60 by use of the hatch In goal line by line to find to find to find it will use of city you store and this is actually not random data but encrypted data and the state that you can encrypt with seeking here using AES 256 C B C and then you get the polling station this is more or less clear how this works how to put that the so the question is here OK you have all these uh all these than data encrypt it on the web server this is secure will at 1st of all you can do brute force
because it's just the hedge and you can just start they're trying and Hessian 5 find it out and then as you have said post codes and birth dates you can group these in divide-and-conquer and there the let a
here is a check some you can't you can't recalculated the correct idea but you can recalculate 45 ideas so maybe you can then say some ideas that really strange have never seen scene legalese I can ignore them and then you have a
reduced number of ideas so that you can buy brute force and get for 1 pulse code and 1 that birth date that you know 1 of these 7 already 15 is correct so the question is how well it is he that there was a peak discussion in the media about this and especially in the media against a referendum so that all the of the senses of 5 . 3 million people will be so 1st of all you don't get sick it's a correct idea you just give them a reduced number of ideas and the NCAA these public data in this in the sense that if you want to open up a bank account you have to tell your idea uh if you want to get a library card you will uh have to tell your idea or a few and I don't know if you want to and sign up an action because you think you you're not fit enough and then you have also to that the UID so is said the passes through a lot of things and it's not the top secret data life for account for example to secure as social security number so I think this is an interesting way of uh storing data no I'm Mrs. data in an easy to clone their website in I'm not sure about if it's not the if it could have been done better so if you have any ideas of all these then uh just write a post or tweet about it or whatever and spread the word OK so thirties of
September 1 day before the referendum actually happen so federal Peru police took over the TTI assistant of telecommunications and technology and uh this was because my and nearly all the polling stations of this of this day well uh I'll were uh entities of the Catalan government especially schools and medical stations and the then could uh internet connection is also with the so they all have a connection to the to the city and from there they go to the internet and so probably they did this to start to monitor the a piece to see what traffic actually will be uh will have more on this uh on the polling stations
the OK they also referendum the but I
just wondered if you're a small an impression about how they how data the as situation was on the day of the referendum so you know it was clear that the federal policemen come and will close down and we try to close dumpling stations by force so there are people that were already sleeping from the day before occupies a polling stations tool in a police to and tool stop to please from closing them down and in the early early in the morning around 5 o'clock hundreds and thousands of people gathered in front of polling stations and stayed there the whole day trying so to block like with their bodies the police from entering and for example the ballots and the ballot boxes to put in which the police watch was searching for a month uh magically arrived in the earlier in the early all hours of the steady on the polling stations
the uh so at 8 o'clock here in this morning there was a global census are non-specific them and government the that you don't need to go to a specific putting station to vote but you could go to any polling station and this was done because it was foreseen that policemen closed on polling stations by force and actually for example in Barcelona 1 of the 1st polling stations they close down by force was the biggest 1 of Barcelona so if you want uh if you don't have a global thing so send everybody that would have uh that the need to go to see sampling station will be able to vote in these weight was possible to so and the home page of the global senses which was the simplest at the base where you and where you register of the ideas of the persons that had already voted so to assure that nobody vote twice or more and more than once it was really simple so this is uh I haven't found a better picture because it's not on anymore obviously and it looked like this so you had done in the polling station and that's not a polling station ID which is this 1 and then you had the fulling station password and then add those uh responsible to polling station had to enter these to actually which is not on the central system the polling station and then you could and the ideas yeah tool and tool to mark on people s that they have voted and then if you if you put the buttons then when there was green the people the person was a little too will put the ballot in a ballot box and if it was red then is effect you're ready all you not allowed to vote again as so it's in it seems that there are these passport here was also used for authentification and encryption of today that because they're always system had Noah Telus certificate we will see why an E and there was of course a tight timeframe of up time for this solution because the referendum was from 9 2 8 PM and you can just say well we need 4 hours to fix this and then we're up again so on internet
connection in the polling stations which runs through the TTI what I said before and it's not totally clear what happened because there's so many different information from different people in different polling stations so some got cut off from the it totally some got cut off only part of so that for example the Roman wife I didn't work but they're cable network to work in somewhere you weren't you could not access and using the talk plant and there's some reporter but also I p abrupt IP addresses got there at the block I'm sample a sampling station had alternative existence and that of the person might minority and so what day in many polling stations people did say just cell phones or data and used for G access points all the neighbors of their Wi-Fi so that people could access and so rich is that the world and it was last seen that the different pieces were blocked with different size please Baron OK so the the page that was announced by it in the morning was uh the domain which is the basis of which use the CloudFlare that like the other pages and there it was brought within minutes and so on so it wasn't even possible to open observe the polling stations in time at 9 o'clock because when they wanted to and 2 connected to a rich is all the polling places it didn't work so and from this point on and that there were only only year IP addresses reuse directly which were reverse proxies and for a central server that we somewhere on the Internet and in end in the 1st hours these service probe proxies were attacked Sruti decitex all the time and there was severe connection problems because they got down quickly and so if you want but if you're reverse perceiving works and you have to call a hotline and say any I'm using this IP address and it doesn't work and then it says OK you have to use another 1 you 1 and then you can imagine that this a total chaos because the responsibility of putting station can be an old man which has never used in computer and you have to in the Lynwood is an IP address in which put this so there was a total chaos um 1 another kid not kills but it was complicated right and that there was also instant messaging between people in different polling stations which in changed information like I'm using this IP you I try these when a change to the units of over then I couldn't get access so there was a lot of communication and it was seen that the every time a new IP address was also they line and the polling stations started to use them at the DOS attack was in place right away so this is why it is supposed to probe the possible that be police uh check the content is should check their network connection of the polling stations all 4 that's in the work of supporting stations to find out which of these 2 blocks
uh OK so whenever you a new a new numerous problem proxying and you needed to route which is still there and you put in place so you had to call the offline and say hey I'm I'm and I'm polling place but they did it case it's I want to allow any then you know I need I need a new passport and they provided you new password and then you could you choose them so what happened as someone was really emotional about the referendum and the historic debate and posted a photo of so that there there response to a responsible of polling place uh got on Twitter where there was the and the ideal of his polling place in the number of solid line so someone would have some money took sealed land called said you see uh said that he is responsible of his polling place go then you all got the new passport and was able to introduce some uh some ideas of from people he found on the internet which doesn't mean that he was able to achieve old he was just a an market people as bolded that they have voted even they and so if they would have come later to vote so that would that would be possible for them um so the problem you was of course that there was no secure communication channel between the police at the polling place responsible in the outline so there was no way for the plan to achieve new if the person's at called was responsible for putting place or if it was someone who wrote the number the OK
so I said there was a distributed in and denial of service attack against old system and that was organized to a forum that's called for all conscious which is a form of old cars will call love us and when I talk about a lot of things and there's a not only about cost of about everything and there was 1 user you can find the info down here which is really interesting it's in English and that's 1 user that's going and he is called an external and it seems that he's from Madrid and he opened the thread in this forum and said there and ask people to help to shut down the system and he wrote in this red I want to remind you said he does something that is the leading is not really so that's an opinion writer uh and in this red uh IP addresses of form the reverse proxies got published and also what updated IP addresses that went down because of 2 D dose of text so but they were really working on this and that there was a as as evidence that the SYN the text actually did happen so it was not just some computers and computer some car lovers sitting in front of their computers pressing F 5 and to see if they can uh if it's a can the system but there were actually uh professional techniques used and and was there since flooding this IP spoofing so the question is if this were only users from that for a coaches of simpler and law-enforcement agencies involved this is of course unknown so on there of proxies say introduced for blocking to try to educate the attack and after some hours Barcelona I think it was a and attacked for coaches it's it's a forum and there's so the forum the website had to go the had to go down into maintenance so uh as for maintenance so it wasn't accessible anymore and there's some other hacker groups of detector of take uh the and did some other texts and these are all described in these really good attitude unfortunately it's only in cut so sorry for that OK
so on the day of the referendum where we have the whole bunch of attacks so we had Parkinson had infrastructure obviously we had therefore the ring techniques used in we had a distributed denial-of-service attack and then are also a looser all Turks watching could and was there will tation was able to take place and there was a central so was also because point of the system so I was wondering if it would be possible to put these in a decentralized manner right now is the the state everybody's talking about blockchain maybe there's any possibility to but this was a blocked and I'm not an expert so all the parties body the the patients a referendum was 40 . 3 per cent which is extremely high I think because you have to think said there you could see from the early hours in the morning and police officers and beating up people the so it was a very risk to go then don't because they could just come by and well the yes vote borne by 18 90 % the something like this and there was light 170 7 cells in the blood voted no and 45 cells 900 searching the voted in blind call this like the this old like I don't care which uh which actually added to the votes of certain most voted party on this case and the gets added to the votes of say yes to independence the and and in the estimates of the 10th of October the website of assembly Aniston academic which have don't again and I say again because would set could shut down 3 times a friendlier National Cattle analyzer is a political organization which promotes independence and the 1 on the thirties of forked over several websites from the Catalan government coach of bone and there hasn't been national the just for a few days ago 19th of december they took legal action against the blockage of their website because as they claim that they never got any information data websites get get shut down abrupt and why so they they don't even know why to
so I come to the conclusion uh I think this could be the biggest Internet censorship in the European Union so far and I think it is the Europe European Union uh did not condemn sufficiently what happened the stains um its roots concerning that the government tried to to censorship propose responsibility to the top top-level domain register and there was a huge repression against the clique of mirrors and these unconventional data start from the widow toward homepage think it's really interesting and it might need a deeper look tool understand if this is really secure or not indexing surround most important conclusion of all this at all the repression on the street and the censorship and then it's has Spanish state was not able to stop the referendum in a
few so here's some things about being the mission uh regions more which was put in these for means uh will to lots of the words in and check them out and there you have thank you a lot and think
it all the people that helped me some mining TO and there them many more that gives me come they put me in contact with people that gives me explain me there and what they experience and debates thank you at the end of the thank you have it for granted if you the announcements if you leave from the door model BW there's a TV crew behind them making a recording so if you don't want to be films please access for the dorm be about time is left for a few and I on the 1st question shall complements not that Hey you don't have a chance OK the good from 1 use I think it was very interesting and seemed like he needed a lot of computer expertise to help run all of the polling stations on the day were those people volunteers the part of the the government is that normal that the government isn't technically the Catalan government as well and they also have things that what happened in the days before the referendum there was like a and most of the people in cut were really upset was the Spanish state and there were like this is illegal I don't care who it was like what everybody stand like about I don't care if it's in the limit so on the day of the of the referendum there were like people that had normally would have go to the polling station although they're called because not saw someone you where you have you have some computer expertise by help us that an advertisement working so there was no official EU the organization of these but the Catalan government as fast as far as I know but that was just the the the people spontaneously helped each other right country so am questions in the question about the day is censorship was quite brutal so are there any legal actions that are going on against spend because if there is nothing going on against his country at the next time another country would do the same because they have nothing to lose half I don't know of any apart from what I
explained from the aliens seen from the assembly emotional couple under which did some legal action I think uh I mean for example European Union hides behind the fact that the supreme court of Spain to clear the air referendum in constitutional and therefore all the censorship was in some way the the OK excursion grossly so Our why did you
use on possible world built petition instead of their own G. pairing for certification yeah uh you mean on the day of the referendum rise yeah yeah well I don't know because I didn't move to system so I don't know why not but I think it was news because it was foreseen that there the reverse proxies will be attacked and from what I know you as to you would need a certificate for each IP address of which domain and that was not possible because it was like and we there someone to output of a nearest pop proxy get that text you have to get the new 1 and it was like it was like a cat-and-mouse all the day long so that would be feasible but the microphone to the thanks for the call on my question is regarding Telefonica lot based on government crests 1 website at the time did they block based on the wall with the wind and this illegal I see a website based for will level and allowed market null sold new blog on what decision I don't know To be honest I don't know but I suppose that they blocked on this on the warrants on their part orders they got but I can't tell you for sure and so at the end last question from the internet yeah prominent how many people or work involved into a war that kind of it if you have any idea I have no idea is totally unclear who this war so many people these were these activists so but they have a questions your it is that is exhaust just a precedent to say it wasn't a technical report and not theory in management of people who use this you forced uh undertaking but as a as you would say the same answer uh didn't understand your question I know that people in and I just wanted to be precise the question and say member of the Porter want to move is going to take the core people bought up this saves the same mantra for you yeah well that's you mean like the people the people in the polling stations of helping each other I don't know what we're supposed to solvents schools also that we've got a content you have no idea for a goes since since there are no further questions so thank you all for keeping questions brief and to the point I went to leave please take your trash with you answer or France now what to do if you
don't arms radio if the thank you but it took to complete the the back people but
