I think I might
the 8 so I only have 5 minutes if I go over that it's gonna kill me so since were in Portland and the spirit of being green connect you all to close your laptops for just 5 minutes that's at 5 minutes and you can or you should wait after he's done to but just for my 5 minutes no the interesting and so
so I'm zeta demand work interactive intelligence Over the past year and a half I've been working on building a in multiparty video chat with liberties you member of somebody told me they wanted add video I said that was pretty ambitious let's try doing it with member of so who knows what this is anybody to shut up is yes it back to the future so when I was a kid video chat was literally science fiction but now it's real I think that's really awesome and but they got 1 thing wrong is that it's
not in the it's it's these companies and it's pretty much just these companies but there's a whole handful of other companies out there that are doing video chat and but it but it's really hard there's a huge barrier of entry to getting video chat it's really tough and so it's a really cool people at the
Dmitri C and Google and at some other companies decided let's take these building blocks for video chat and for other real-time communications in the browser and that make them into an open Web standard that we can put into our browsers so everybody to build apps to build ambitious powerful communications in the browser and I think that's incredible as I've been doing that so whether whether you're trying to just add communication is a feature to your application or or what have you it's just there's so many different things that you can do above and beyond having just of web application that is just a standard form or whatever it is like but my favorite thing in the world is getting people to talk to each other and that's why we're all here right like we could all be on slack channel talking but uh when people get together face-to-face or when they talk when we feel closer to each other with a cure of voices and see each other's faces that's where we get better ideas and that's where we get but you root that's already advancement in intact so whether you're adding the status of each of your application it where people just wanna see each other and here each other whether they're learning whether they're just talking
to friends and feeling like they're closer whether they
just wanna feel safer in closer to
home like there's so much that you can do with this and and I think bringing people together is 1 of my bills would suffer because we decide what we built so uh build something that brings people together
and so I'm doing out if I to see a number thanks the my without the and the
