How to design a mathematical exhibition in order to catch the attention of people? It is a game of topics, of choices, of new technologies, all of them playing little but fundamental roles. This is the story of one of our attempts to hit this mark: the exhibition “Mathematics down to Earth” - an exhibition about cartography.
