but but but but but but but at the time it might be worth of the of the of the of the of the of the of the of the of the of the and that is if that and this was
back in the hands of ball on the other hand tend to use the same thing the the social media and all the and I don't plan to only you know and none of that really just people and I'm here and there is a kind of music and even more than in the case of the students as the 1st breasts and in you're is while power and he will not do think the technique spiral and this it is 1 of the most valuable commodities that that itself as people people personally and professionally however some of the people don't use items that the I'm not going to do this and that and that will people to change their minds about the communications so to this and and what this that means that they to the to the the beginning of the and to address and in the end of the and the ceremony of loss of life and the thing is you with a win you know everybody has to stopping your money which is very embarrassing that is here in however it is hardly on a lot of lessons from the all of the 100 it doesn't have take away from the that's that's from all sharing the same way you will move with people of the level of you talking the people about something I'm passionate about words something that is interesting and that it has affected pretty much every area of the of my life of my 1st on the list of professional and you know it is all the time sometimes you'll let alone analysts so this I thought that as humans energy is often the people in the early conversation right and so what do you know of that the conversation in is yes this the the it's thinking about it right so her they had enough something of the city and then there's the you know in response to it and then it goes on and on and so on until the resolution of the polarization is is that right and so approach procedures is probably in the same way as the time you know in the case of words that we have to like the threat in the and how will we let the video on how to use them and how good a deal on the other person says CEO and could be at the end of people what they want the set rate is all that's needed and that the exact movement along the way to think about a conversation you have to think about the other person you know how they feel about what they want to say about this as the common sense right so having the focus on and the birds attitude is of lizard known or the talk so this is the the the the
results the level of the time and this is the parameters that I have here this all that I get this thing but it's actually really want a lot is known about how we use all for years old things development have some sort of a region and that there is summary and occasionally it's a little less so an active user community years just of and also as a and actually the runs in my family and pretty much everyone else is out of the way between the ages of about 10 1 and so you know time in the beginning I think that was you know obviously in the lecture it's not quite the it's so on the other hand and as you like that at all the major milestones in the game it's weird that has students or as 2 forms of this around and so on the 1st letters by developed to hold the human the mechanisms in order to have the only in a way it's not and something that I did was I use a lot of time do those things in mind also ch ch ch ch ch change words he found with the last column so they will more than I as well as some of you know there's there's also made of the word I can actually know a person who who was very you know a higher on the side of the game and so here do you read engineering so they always had the word on it is very interested in the kind of doesn't work and so on and so eventually until interlacing any in the heart all life I'm probably not going there isn't something is reindeer accessible at the highest on a crowded came off and I know and interested in or I was not interested in the other person and not designed look
like they alone that by the time the and you know this and so you know I had to figure out a way it's the active part of the conversation I was in and and the work and and and and what life and so I began to have people questions raised around this acid things and so on MIT on the topic that they just you know people who love talking about race and so I do this kind of and I'm happy that I realized this was actually enjoyed talking the right and at the highest I was using so know actively present and you know interested in the data set 1 so long all of us here and I say and and of the newly GGG July and as a narrative juicy areas I'm and who we all the should sharing society OK and people our brains are the wire and acts and we do have to the synaptic break is so all the the and all of that stuff this allows us to use such a share our cells within other people whom and where where yes man of the right to so as talking it will in a period of band power they add to this day I was basically just 18 inch
sharing and society offline and allowance appeal the times of themselves or you know this piece you realize that you but there was some asset for you is asking a lot the questions have been actually interested in the answers and iron and this was used in and it shows the other person thinking world about interested in and it also shows that you are are and their words and in is a region where the communication it's so my allotted others the thing here's is it's uses that I was on stage theory of around aerosols and this is not practical I would you know that in general and so that I have to return to their it again in when on as the inside of it and finally to to find the and I was the time people found out this there you you know have talking with people in total in that form it's because of the phrase that I'm sounds known and this is the thing that the judge and so I had theory as a way it's kind of over overconfidence the and so I I I think there who was around age and use of the utility and she was also a in yeah I don't know where to her and I its act into you was 1 of the techniques that may be a lot easier for me to again the not happy I know about the way they did little learnt from her is having a lot to and that I had grandmothers factors people are and every time I was that so comfortable that I just want to be and I know that you have to sit here and listen to the talk and in the beginning it was not all that as time went on it the easier it also helps me to be a lot of words and then words her on the ass results but I was able to open up a lot more there about the emotional side summary and how the you in I do not believe that there is not in the in every communication and that's a change in the D is the
cost of adapting and with other people In the creates
the environment for other people to share more than you will details about themselves you can there be a series of activities that is the purpose of this study so that the also helps you you the you will see only up to the other person who had and you're talking to so when use the bad years that go that can job on the that says the moral and you just here are integers possible and so I'm to present the period you know about this 2 years the and do it in adolescents and indeed and which are starting to look at the world and so on I think there is the 1st of the head of the Office of itself at other people with he those things about me and have to face that well it turns out that people in Germany canadian hostages Sharon basically it was and the 1 it said she she she she she she shared the their for ease of years and for the and will be used to do more with the end and the that's because I was willing to the
town my faults for you know I would be talks and summary sparsity learning and so on that is also obviously like most of the users only all these people like the the very people works myself and down and in racist where the room that in the long but and the II into that you know people would come up the and it follows an in and out Stone Age always and you lot or this means that they were afraid to say or ashamed of or anything they you know I showed you know kind of abilities and results of that they were and how our searches show me years enter that's the want
you know a lot of people In such a share in society there are only about about the big thing about 1 you know I have mostly under the current times time with this thing about how it's you know it's clear that in many you know how hard it is to be transferred on how relevant movie is right people so I didn't hurt me and they and bind with the a lot right so the worst problems in your word order and securities and doesn't mean that you this and that kind of thing that you will do when that can help and on had to use half the humans on this case this is the thing that is
being in and that's what we present you honorable forward and reverse the not because she shares the euro
FIL B B B of like but this the the if you if you are on the acceleration is in this environment you and some of these 1 of the things the organization in the tree over all here with her co-workers from that in in unit or on its you were using the Internet where you evaluation right OK so on been talking about is that other people were constantly and you have to talk to the right and so the main thing you want to do is just pay attention said and its use that on other people are to the rate so on anything that has this on the easy thing to do is sort of a shh shh shh shh shh shh shh shh shh there are language right and so on the end there are no and in this 1 and it was in talks on this some of the parameters used a and you don't have to go over is about of these histories of these people are who believe in and there and here is that we can add their own you and Lawrence the sum of all the more and all this in the size of the players have a lot more open and interested in music to say on and so on and article that is on the and you know it can be what it should the be 1st to bound people can get out of this and then there is the way on you and it's sometimes in the taken as like well an interesting work and talk to you and actually this is you know what's up so the goes through these functions terms are just as in the the easy way is to just go on and I'm asking people already questions right on yeah really did have a rule to the center of the talk and think aloud the conversation to the place where they are distinct from the opening and comparable and and and or having any previous times the semantic you some of you mentioned that way hinges on your is being genuinely interested in what you what you need to be actually more and and and and and I think this is a very personal situation I a lot it of you were professionals 10 as far as we know this or that practice by every single person has something that is extremely fascinating about it right and it's just not allowing yeah person just to checked it ways of being comfortable enough to keep talking to you and you allow them to talk enough about these and they are in interested in and you can this fall in the conversation when there are a lot easier to get people to do the work that you may be normalized and you our actually interested at In an interview he actually interested in you you have a lot of coffee that I think the people of the American the people of the Book of the using all of these like view of this in the in the back of the book value of I mean I want the onset of the or it has 1 of that and it the the of the norm of the good things of beauty in yes this is not how it works in the that have the like genes and I'm going to say you were this this is the something right that this problem is that the sum the collection of personality have been reduced and this matter talking so you have this all right but if you're and I have a lot of my

Abstract Developers are trained to communicate to things with a goal in mind. When you're talking to something like, say a computer, you type in your code and it responds by giving you back what you want. Nine times out of ten, it works perfectly. Why, then, is it so difficult to do this same thing when talking to a client about a project, updating a superior on your progress, or pitching an investor your million-dollar idea? Because talking to people requires a special set of skills - namely, empathy and a little bit of storytelling. In an industry filled with brilliant minds, great ideas and mass disruption, so few of the best and brightest know how to tell their compelling story. The takeaways from this workshop will be learning how to value the listener and use vulnerability to improve your social connection. This talk will take you through the difficulty of broken communication - I, myself, stutter and have great difficulty in saying the simplest things - to discovering how to reframe your perceived weaknesses. None of us are perfect, but sometimes those things that we feel are our weak points are the exact things that we can use to our advantage.
